Job Description The bank provides innovative custody, fund accounting, administration, outsourcing and securities services to institutional investors, alternative asset managers and debt and equity issuers. They leverage their scale and capabilities to help clients optimise efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance revenue through a broad range of investor services, FX, cash management and alternative investment services. They are particularly strong in offshore funds. They are growing rapidly in investor services and asset management worldwide and have an excellent presence in Luxembourg and Dublin, to support their in-country staff. Their main focus now is to grow their domestic markets in Europe and are therefore looking for senior new business development staff: salespeople and relationship managers. In particular: - a leader in Sales and Relationship Management for Zurich, to cover Switzerland.
Sales are dedicated to new business development; RMs to retaining revenue, mapping target organisations; up- and cross-selling. Candidates must have the gravitas to understand their client companies from CEO downwards and be completely conversant with client strategy; • The successful candidates will work with their client service delivery colleagues in Luxembourg and Dublin to approach their local asset manager CEOs and CIOs and investment advisors to increase wallet share; • They will report to their regional in-country office heads; • Senior management are ready and willing to involve themselves in deals if requested; • The corporate culture is entrepreneurial, transparent, collegiate, open and apolitical with a flat organisational structure; "Work hard, play hard" and "make a difference" are the watchwords. Candidate Profile: • Those with many years’ experience in investor services are welcome, our client might also consider highly talented individuals from other areas of banking who are familiar with new financial techniques and instruments; asset management candidates, as well as those from consultancy or IT; • Our client is also interested in individuals with business acumen; IT skills to support their complex cross-border fund administration instrument solutions, and alternative asset classes; • The successful individual would have sound knowledge of local financial infrastructure; • Fluency in German, French and English is required; • As is gravitas to interact from buy-side CIO level downwards. • The bank is looking for around 10 years experience or more; • Our client offers an especially competitive compensation and benefits package; • Obviously those who feel at home in the corporate culture will fare best.
