Our client is one of the most successful funds in the world.  It has built an outstanding name for itself in commodites and energy investing and takes controlling stakes in major companies in the mid - senior market.  Typical investments tend to be £500m - 5bn.  Their investor base is mainly retirement funds, sovereign wealth funds and endowments.

They are now looking for an Investment Associate to join their team. 

The role will work on the origination and execution of investments in energy companies throughout Europe.

They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

- Investment bankers or associates

- At the 3rd year analyst to 2nd year associate level

- With excellent deal experience in the energy sector

- Or a private equity professional from a top fund, without sector experience
