Our client, a well-established international asset-management company, is currently recruiting a junior accountant for their office

YOUR ROLE

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• To administrate and to prepare the financial statements of holding commercial companies and SOPARFIS.
• To maintain the general ledger performing journal entries in the accounting system and performing reconciliation of the accounts.
• To assist in quarterly and year-end reporting including the preparation of management accounts. (IFRS/LUX GAAP)
• To follow-up of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• To prepare VAT and Tax returns
• To interact with clients, others offices and client advisors.

YOUR PROFILE

• A university degree with a major in finance or accounting.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in accounting.
• Very good communication skills, team player.
• Hands-on, committed to work and autonomous.
• Flexible.
• Fluent in English and French. The knowledge of any others European language would be an asset.
