Responsibilities: 

• Manage a staff of 15- 20 Application developers
• Establish and enhance software architecture and guidelines that improve the application development.
• Develop and maintain processes and applications when new trading or externally managed portfolios or strategies are added.
• Partner with VP of Infrastructure to coordinate work/roll outs to avoid potential conflicts
• Partner with senior managers/internal business customers to identify, gather, & understand their goals and to formulate strategies to support them, while prioritizing requests and staying within deadlines 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience within the financial/investment institutions.
• Very good understanding of financial markets and instruments
• Must have strong Fixed Income Derivatives Product Knowledge
• Experience in vendor based Risk Management, OMS and Trading applications a plus
