Position: Head of Power Origination

Reporting directly to the Head of  Wholesale and Origination Business Unit, the successful candidate will be in charge of Power Origination activities in the European markets, leading a team of >10 highly motivated specialists.

In addition to main European liquid markets (Germany, France, UK etc.), where the Trading Business Unit mainly operates, Enel Trade is already operational also in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Slovenia (also through formal subsidiaries/branches already established where needed) with the strategic objective to become operational also in other CEE/SEE countries such as Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria.

The successful candidate will have direct P&L responsibility in CEE & SEE markets, buying and selling electricity at wholesale level throughout the different countries and managing cross-border trading.

Job requirements

-Excellent knowledge of European Power Markets, with special focus on CEE & SEE emerging markets

-Strong commercial skills and well-developed networking ability in the European power business

-Well-developed negotiation skills

-Ability to implement an ambitious Business Plan in the Origination activities

-Managing relationships with the major players (producers, customers and traders) in CEE and SEE power markets

-Managing the drafting and negotiation of contracts

-Fluency in English
