Our Client is a top tier global investment bank with an excellent brand name and a strong presence in the world’s major financial centers. They are presently looking to hire a cost analytics controller to join their regional Finance Planning and Analysis function.

The Cost Analytics Controller is a critical hire into the regional finance hub based in Singapore. You will be part of the planning and analysis function that provides cost oversight on a regional infrastructure cost base. Working in a highly regarded regional team with members based across the Asia Pac region, you will work closely with the business and help them to understand their cost dynamics.

You will prepare cost management reports and provide insightful analysis of the cost drivers of the business and assist the business to understand the cost implications of different initiatives. You are also expected to continually examine the financial processes and systems through which key information and analysis are produced to ensure that the appropriate controls are robust and reliable, and where necessary, make recommendations for improvements.

To qualify, you should be degree-qualified, preferably from the discipline of Accountancy with at least 6 years of relevant experience in the cost control of a significant cost base (CRES, IT, Operations etc), either in banking or in an MNC environment. You should also have a good understanding of management accounting and/or cost controlling methodologies.
