Our client is seeking an IT Divisional Manager – Retail Banking to work under the direction of the CIO. As IT Divisional Manager you will lead a cohesive, professional and high performing team at various levels of the organisation consisting of permanent as well as contract staff.

Key stakeholder relationships will be with client business leads within the Retail bank arm of the group.

Challenges for the IT Divisional Manager include:

• Maintaining relationships within the Retail Bank business area
• Assessing systems planning, building and application selection within this business area
• Design and implementation of Systems plan for Retail Bank: branches, TD, Internet and Business Banking, considering the user needs within the technological framework of the wider Banking Group
• Budget assignment and tracking
• Coordination with other business units (local and global) to implement corporate solutions
• Be the single point of entry into IT for Retail Banking

• A seasoned, career technology professional, with an awareness of ‘leading edge’ best practice in IT strategy & architecture, applications development, project/programme management, infrastructure & service delivery methodologies
   
• Appreciation of financial services / banking from technology and retail perspective is required
   

• Confident & ambitious; with the all-round business competence and strategic vision required for a role at this level

• Degree qualified or equivalent
