Financial Analyst in St. Louis, MO will be responsible for performing regular bank analysis for the financial integrity of the firm. You will aid in preparation of financial statements and consolidating schedules. Knowledge of bank regulatory authority and/or the banking sector is ideal.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Competitor/ Industry analysis
Bank analysis
Collect and analyze financial and statistical data (commissions, cash flows, operating stats)
Assist with consolidation and analysis of financial results
Due diligence analysis on firm's business partners and vendors
Miscellaneous financial analysis/ projections
Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong understanding of financial accounting
Experience in Competitor/Industry Analysis highly preferred
Bank Regulatory Authority or Banking knowledge preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent education and/or experience required.
3-5 years accounting/finance experience required.
