About The Role:

Reporting to the European Head , the position will have responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of fund accounting/administration service providers for a number of European funds, principally UK OEICS, Luxembourg registered SICAV’s, Luxembourg FCP’s, Irish Liquidity Funds, Irish Qualified Investor Funds, Australian Funds, and Cayman and Irish fund of funds (including fund of hedge funds).  Knowledge about different domiciles within Europe and different Fund structures will be an added advantage. These fund families have funds ranging from complex emerging market funds to U.S. Equity funds.  It has the combination of Fixed Income, Money Market and Equity Funds.  The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 2-3 people within the Fund administration group.

What's required: 
Candidates for consideration will have a detailed understanding of fund accounting and fund administration for European fund structures domiciled in Luxembourg, and Ireland. Experience with Hedge Funds and/or performance fee calculations are helpful. Familiarity and experience with structuring funds and various types of structures is required.

General funds business knowledge for eg. TA, Custody, Legal and Compliance are also required.

The individual must be highly detail-oriented and a self-starter who is able to maintain a high standard of accuracy while managing various client related and internal deadlines, a creative individual that can work independently or as part of a team working to exceed clients expectations.

The individual should have strong independent Stakeholder management skills. Stakeholders would include Legal, Compliance, Controllers, TA Management, Investment Management Ops, Client Services, Product Development and Management, Marketing etc.

Strong communication and time management skills are required together with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Fluency in another European language will constitute a competitive advantage.
