Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund is looking to hire the Head of Technology.
This growing firm invests across the entire capital structure. Core strategies include capital structure arbitrage, distressed, convertible bond arbitrage, fundamental credit and equity long/short, event driven equity and risk arbitrage.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of financial experience with a focus in technology, ideally in a hedge fund or investment management environment. Candidates should have Experience managing a staff of IT & general support personnel; Experience managing complex technical projects; IT experience with building and/or maintaining the infrastructure required for an institutional, high frequency, quantitative trading operation; IT experience with business class firewalls, routing, VPN setup, windows network maintenance and server hardware troubleshooting; Experience programming with Java, Perl, Excel VBA, SQL, and C++; Experience with automated trading system software (e.g., Portware, Flextrade, etc.), or with the FIX trading protocol. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
