The Global Operations Group is responsible for the orderly execution and settlement of daily trading volume for BlackRock’s assets under management. Global Operations professionals serve as liaisons between custodian banks, the dealer community, and portfolio managers.
Responsibilities:
The Operations Analyst will serve as an expert in all functions related to daily funds processing and quality control oversight. He/she will:
Conduct daily functions using appropriate controls and risk management
Be responsible for quality control oversight of all inbound and outbound cash movements and trading
Work with custodians, vendors and various internal departments to perform all operational functions
Maintain high standards and ensure all deadlines are met
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is required
Minimum 1 year of operations experience in a custodial bank, brokerage or mutual fund company is strongly preferred
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Excellent computer skills
Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for the business
Ability to multi-task
Maintain high standards and show exceptional attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work effectively with others to accomplish goals
Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities
