Work closely with the Global Head of Corporate Development within a global bank driving the execution and origination of M&A activity (Globally)
Key Accountabilities: - Provide high quality value added Corporate Finance advice in support of the relevant Responsible Executive Group Exco and the Board. - Participate actively in the making of recommendations to divest, hold or acquire businesses. - Actively manage and where appropriate assist in the management negotiation and execution of the acquisition and disposal of corporate entities, businesses and joint ventures - Maintain and develop close links with CSU’s and Cluster businesses. - Build relationships with external advisers - Assist in the management of equity participations, trade investments and capital application.
Person Specification: – Clear and logical thought processes allowing effective communication both orally and in writing – Excellent Corporate Finance execution skills – Highly developed valuation skills – Deal structuring and transaction execution experience – Ability to effectively influence deal team members at every level – Good presentational skills (both preparation and delivery) – Strong project management skills – Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment – Ability to manage with limited supporting resource
