TITLE: LIFE INSURANCE UNDERWRITER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Examine overall loan documentation to ensure accuracy.
Review loan-to value ratio, credit reports, and applications.
Analyse applicant’s financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan.
Underwrites, either approves or rejects loans within agency, investor and bank guidelines.
Re-negotiates loans based on lending guidelines.
Maintains a high level of customer service
Approves loan within specified limits or refers to senior management for approval.
Ensures loan agreements are complete, accurate and in accord with Bank policy.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
Strong leadership skills
Familiarity with investor requirements.
Understanding and knowledge of residential lending guidelines.
Knowledge of the mortgage origination process, policies and procedures.
Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years as an Underwriter
IT Literate

SALARY: €75k + excellent package
